Moroccan Olives are a variety of Olives that are black in colour, have a rough skin and a soft mushy texture.
However, Spyros Peter Goudas cites in his book, The Olive Tree, that although these Olives appear to be ugly looking, to people familiar with them, they are the ultimate Olive.

There is some debate as to the ultimate Olive, though: to some the ultimate Olive is the one floating in a dry Martini.

To find out all you need to know about Olives and Olive Oil, I suggest you read my book titled, The Olive Tree, in the Books and Articles Section of www.mrgoudasbooks.com website.
