There are no set rules when one's taste buds call for a particular food or food combination.
Today, I felt like eating corn, potatoes and shrimp.
I cut one potato into French-fried style pieces, diced a medium onion and washed a few shrimps.
In a large frying pan, I added enough Extra Virgin Olive Oil to fry my potatoes.
When I felt they were just about ready, I poured the extra Oil out of the frying pan.
I returned the pot to the stove, added the diced onions and shrimp, and continued cooking for a few minutes until the shrimps are cooked.
I then added half a can of whole kernel corn and sauted my combination for an additional few minutes, adding a few drops of Soya Sauce to achieve the colour.
How about that for creativity: potatoes, shrimp, and corn! What else could one desire.
