1 lb Ground Beef
1 cup of bread crumbs
1 teaspoon Oregano
Salt and Pepper to taste
1/4 cup of Olive Oil or Soya Oil
Combine ground beef, eggs, bread crumbs, oregano, chopped onion, salt and pepper.
Form into small balls and set aside.
In a large frying pan, heat the Oil.
Gently place each meatball in the oil and fry until brown all over.
Piece one of the meatballs with a fork to check that it is cooked 10 to 15 minutes.
Remove meatballs from frying pan and place in a rectangular baking tray in the oven at 375 F degrees for and additional 15 to 20 minutes.
Monitor carefully to ensure that they do not burn, turn occasionally for even cooking.
