Mr.Goudas Peaches: Halves and Slices From Greece
The Peach, a symbol of long life and fertility, is a sweet, moist, melt-in-the-mouth fruit that is native to China and is now cultivated throughout warm temperate and subtropical regions of the world.
The Peach can be red, pink yellow or white or a combination of these colours.
On one side of the fruit there is a distinctive vertical.
The skin is fuzzy and dull and on the inside the yellowish flesh is juicy and delicious.
The peach season is very short and the fruit itself is very fragile and can be easily bruised.
Peaches may be served right out of the can, chilled or as a topping for your favourite desserts (ice-cream, cheese cake, mmm good!!).
Lately, the selective shopper would have noticed that there are several instances where you may have seen Peach slices or halves in Pear juice.
What is this?? What a brilliant idea for people who do not know this fruit.
