ROMAINE LETTUCE SALAD
It is very simple to make a Romaine Lettuce Salad provided you follow these instructions.
The ingredients are: Romaine Lettuce, Green Onion, Dill, Salt, Vinegar, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Croutons and Feta Cheese (both optional).
Open all the leaves of the lettuce and wash thoroughly, one by one, to remove any soil residue.
Cut leaves into small pieces (1/4 inch), making it easy to digest.
Add one Green Onion chopped into small pieces, and a little fresh Dill (if you like the taste).
Spread little salt evenly as you toss the salad.
Add a small amount of Vinegar to taste, and pour enough Olive Oil overthe salad without saturating the lettuce.
The secret is in the mixing or tossing.
Therefore, gently mix (preferably with two forks) so that all the ingredients blend together in perfect harmony.
A good Olive Oil is very important. The recomented brands are KISSAMOS, JOE VILERO. RENIERIS, MR GOUDAS
Should Olive Oil be too heavy for you, Soya Oil is recommended alternative.

Chopped Green Onions are an excellent addition to the taste of this salad.
Extra Virgin Olive Oil in a small quantity also enhances the flavour of this and any other salad.
